wedding apps
Bagi yang baru mulai persiapan pernikahan, monggo di-download apps Bridal Pulse dari sini (unfortunately, it's Apple only).
Selamat browsing ya, gals..

sweat the small things (part II)
I am not quite sure whether it's still appropriate to call it "sweat the small things earlier", since it only left 100++ days before the D-day! Oh well.
My plan is dragged, indeed, but it doesn't make it less excited :) i'm still interested looking around the internet to browse these small stuffs, especially Etsy and Pinterest. Below are some options for the ring bearer we're thinking to purchase.
Care to choose one for us? :)
Ring Box Rustic Wood
Birch Bark Wood Rustic
Rustic I Do Ring Bearer
Personalized Wooden Wedding Ring Bearer
Monogram Ring Bearer Box Personalized

Ring Box Rustic Wood

| This was my very first choice. We can choose the type of wood grain we fancy of, but not quite liking the font.. |
Birch Bark Wood Rustic

| The thing I like about this box is the name engraving plate! Love love love it! |
![]() |
| White ring bearer is always something to look for. You know.. wedding.. white. That's a perfect match. |
![]() |
| The wood color is classy, BUT the heart-shaped on top is annoying. Perhaps can request to remove it :) |

| Rather than keeping two wedding rings in one section, this ring bearer separates the two rings for groom and bride. And.. the wording is also quite lovely. |

| Our rings will be placed inside it! Ain't it excited? |
So, which one? :D

pinning the rings.
I'm a sucker for rings and bracelets.
Been browsing around on etsy and pinterest, and couldn't stop saving all the (wedding/engagement) ring's images. All are pretty! <3
Yos and I haven't found our wedding rings, although we have imagined what we want. Still busy preparing other things, while taking a chance to look for other options - which is a lot.
Lately, these are the rings I've been eye-ing. Mostly aren't wedding rings, though.. but worth to adore.

bye bye, vera kebaya!
Few days ago I typed a word "kebaya" in pinterest and came across these cool kebaya designer named "Vera Anggraini" with her brand Vera Kebaya. Picture after picture, and I fell in love with how the kebayas fit the person. The design, overall, is simple with its own outstanding detailing (mostly laces, swarovskis, and beads).
Below are some designs I like (and by the way, do you notice that she likes to play with the back's design rather than the front's? And I love it!);

Aren't they pretty? <3 <3 <3
But, let's play "guess the price"! How much do you think it cost for a piece of kebaya? ;)
Give it a try! Guess.
Yes. It's waaaaay to high for my budget. Although I knew from the first time that there's no chance for me to expect ordering my wedding kebaya from her, but I did hang my hope for an affordable number. I got the number from a blog post (someone I know) that the price tag is IDR 25,000,000 (starting from!), it's around US$2,175. I was just grinning and pinching my arm, while smiling bitterly. Oh, bye bye, Vera Kebaya!

inspiration,
preparation,
wedding invitation
Both of us are architects, but none of us is experienced enough in designing cards --- although, I'm one of those human on earth who takes cards-giving-moments seriously. I, myself, fond of typography, although not confidence enough to call myself a pro. I'm an observer and a follower of some blogs who often post and do some workshops in typography and/or graphic designing.
Now that we're in a stage of collecting ideas to do our invitation, we can use our own expertise (a little bit) in designing stuff like this --- though it's two different kinds of design, both in method and approach. I was thinking to match ulos pattern and batik pattern in the invitation. But, let's see how it goes.. I'm still developing on how to match both patterns in one canvas. Personally, it's a good approach to create new pattern and will give a nice little touch to the invitation.
Here are some ideas we like, including the modern fonts for inspiration. We're thinking not to put curved fonts that are oftenly used in wedding invitations, and prefer to use the simpler-fonts instead.
